ABSORPTION RATE (SAR)
THIS MODEL MEETS THE GOVERNMENT’S 

WAVES
Your cellular phone is a radio transmitter and re-

ceiver. It is designed to meet the requirements for 

exposure to radio waves established by the Feder-

al Communications Commission (FCC, USA) and 

by Health Canada. These requirements include 

safety margins designed to assure the protection of 

all persons, regardless of age and health. They use 

a unit of measurement known as the Specific Ab-

sorption Rate (SAR). The SAR limit is 1.6 W/kg av-

eraged over one gram of tissue. 
The highest SAR value for this device when tested 

at the ear was 0.39 W/kg. Body-worn operations 

are restricted to belt-clips, holsters or similar ac-

cessories supplied or designated for this product or 

accessories that have no metallic and a minimum 

distance of 10 mm to the body. The highest SAR
