•   2 high-speed USB 3.0 ports available
•   Supports Plug and Play.  Just install the driver and start using the device.  No configuration 

necessary.

•   Supports hot-plugging:  USB devices can be attached or removed while the computer is on.  

However, consult your USB device’s documentation for instructions on removing devices.

•   If a USB device is moved from one USB port to another, its driver will be automatically re-

installed.

Some USB devices require power from the USB bus to operate.  Before attaching such a 

device, connect the auxillary USB power cable to the power connector on the port card and to 

a powered USB port on the computer.  This will provide power to USB devices connected to the 

port card.  

Notes:
Don't use any other power supply with the Buffalo port card.  Use of other power supplies may 

damage the product and void your warranty.
If your USB port doesn't provide enough power to power the connected USB devices, attach 

each USB device's power adaptor so that they no longer require power from the USB bus.  
Before connecting the auxillary USB power cable, unplug any connected USB devices.
