Note: If you want to report a map correction of a type not shown in the menu, use the

5.  Follow the instructions for your chosen type of map correction.

 to send your map correction report to TomTom and receive map 

corrections from other TomTom navigation device users. 

 

Important: For safety reasons, do not enter the full details of a map correction while you are driving. 
You can always mark the location and create the report later as described below. 

To mark a location and then create a correction report, do the following: 

1.  Make sure that your current location is the location you want to mark. 

2.  Select the current location symbol or the speed panel in the 

 to open the 

.   

Tip: You can also use the voice control command "Mark the current location" to save your 
current location in My Places. 

3.  Select Mark Location. 

Once marked, the location is saved in My Places.   

4.  From the main menu, select My Places. 

5.  Select Marked locations and choose your location from the list. 

Your location is shown on the map. 

6.  Select Report Map Error from the pop-up menu. 

7.  Select the type of map correction you want to apply.

8.  Follow the instructions for your chosen type of map correction. 

9.  Select Report. 

The marker for the marked location is removed from the map. 

10.  Connect your device to 

 to send your map correction report to TomTom and receive map 

corrections from other TomTom navigation device users.
