Your DVD player is cooled by air circulated through the vents on the 
bottom of the case. Keep these vents free of dust. With the DVD player 
turned off and unplugged, brush the dust away from the vents with a damp 
cloth. Be careful not to drip any water into the vents. Do not attempt to 
clean dust from the inside of your DVD player.

Do not use abrasive or solvent cleaners because they can damage the finish.

■

Do not allow any excessive water or moisture to come into contact with 
the surface of the DVD player. If water or moisture gets inside your player, 
operating problems and electrical and shock hazards may result.

Do not scratch or hit the case with your fingers or any hard objects.

■

When handling a disc, do not touch the sides.

■

Do not stick paper to or write anything on the printed surface.

■

Fingermarks and dust on the recorded surface should be carefully wiped

Always keep the discs in their cases after use to protect them from dust 
and scratches.

Do not use a cracked, deformed, or repaired disc. These discs are easily 
broken and may cause serious personal injury and player malfunction.

■

Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, or high temperature 
for an extended period of time.

■

When loading or unloading a disc in the disc tray, always place it with 
the printed side up.

The temperature inside this DVD player can be very high. 
When you finish playing the disc, remove it from the player 
to prevent the high temperature from deforming the disc.
