Product Overview
Cisco
®
Application Networking Manager (ANM) software enables centralized configuration,
operations, and monitoring of Cisco data center networking equipment and services. Cisco ANM
provides this management capability for the Cisco Application Control Engine (ACE) devices, as
well as operations management for the Cisco Content Services Switch (CSS), Cisco Content
Switching Module (CSM), Cisco Content Switching Module with SSL (CSM-S), and Cisco ACE
Global Site Selector (GSS).
Table 1 lists the new features of Cisco ANM 2.0.

Availability
Cisco ANM 2.0 and associated minor release update kits will begin shipping on November 21,
2008. Customers can order these new products through normal Cisco sales channels as of
November 6, 2008.
All Cisco ANM 1.2 customers are eligible for upgrade without charge to ANM 2.0; existing ANM 1.2
licenses support upgrade to ANM 2.0 on the same server platform. Customers wishing to rehost
their ANM platforms should contact Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC)/Global Licensing
