Adjusting advanced settings
The DIP switch row 
 allows you to adjust the headset system to your 
individual needs. By default, all DIP switches are set to the upper position.
To change the settings of the DIP switch row 
If necessary, disconnect an existing wireless link between base station 
and headset (see page 23).
Use a pointed object (e.g. a pen) to set the DIP switches to the desired 
position.
Configuring the handset lifter/hook switch – DIP switch 1 and 2

Lifts/hangs up the handset manually or using 
the handset lifter.
Electronic hook switch (DHSG standard) 
Call control via the DW Pro1/Pro2 headset system.
Electronic hook switch (MSH standard)
Call control via the DW Pro1/Pro2 headset system.

the handset lifter.
Adjusting the radio range – DIP switch 3
If many DECT systems are operated in a confined space, interference can 
occur. In this case, you should change the radio range.
Switch position

Standard radio range
Reduced radio range
Use this setting in order to avoid interference with other 
DECT systems.
Range of approx. 10 m indoors
