r Recording Movies

Use this mode to record movies with sound.

Set the camera to [r MOVIE] mode.

Set the Mode dial to r.

While in standby, pressing the 

 Dual IS button 

enables you to take stable and blur-free images even 
under difficult shooting conditions, such as telephoto 
shooting.

Z Zooming the image
You must zoom beforehand as you cannot zoom during 
recording.

The available recording time 
appears on the screen.

Turn the zoom lever to zoom in or out on an 
image.
