Recording High-Defi nition (HD) Movies

Adjust aperture before recording begins.  Choose 
low f-numbers to soften background details.  The 
eff ect can be heightened by increasing the distance 
between your subject and the background.

 

Q Movies recorded when the aperture is displayed in red 

will not be correctly exposed.

 Using an External Microphone
Sound can be recorded with 
external microphones.  See 
the microphone manual for 
details; if the microphone jack 
is 3.5 mm in diameter, use a 
3.5-to-2.5 mm adapter.

 

R The dialog shown at right will
