If the photography mode is “

”, use the Auto
Flash mode.

When you pop the flash up, the image shown on the
screen may disappear and the screen may go dark
because the flash is charging. In this event, the
indicator lamp flashes orange.

The  “recording time bar” is displayed as a guide to
the amount of remaining recording time. When the
recording time bar reaches the right-hand end,
recording automatically ends and the data is
recorded onto the SmartMedia.
A  “recording time bar” is displayed on the
monitor during shooting.

It takes about 22 seconds to record an 160 second
movie (roughly 24MB) onto a SmartMedia.
!
Even if you stop shooting immediately after it has
begun, roughly 3 seconds of movie will be recorded.
If you press the shutter button down fully during
shooting, shooting stops and the movie is
recorded onto the SmartMedia.
Press the “

” button to select the flash setting.
Each time you press the “

” button, the flash
