Warning Displays
CARD ERROR
• The Memory Card contact area is soiled.
• The Memory Card format is incorrect.
• Camera fault.
• The Memory Card is damaged.
• Inserted Memory Card is not compatible with your 
camera.
• Wipe the contact area on the Memory Card with a 
soft, dry cloth. It may be necessary to format the 
Memory Card (
➝p.93). If the message still 
appears, replace the Memory Card.
• Contact your FUJIFILM dealer.
• Insert a compatible Memory Card that is operation-
checked at FUJIFILM Corporation (
➝p.19).
\ MEMORY FULL
Y MEMORY FULL
The internal memory or Memory Card is full.
Erase some images in internal memory or Memory 
Card (
➝p.38), or use a Memory Card that has ample 
free space.
WRITE ERROR
• The data could not be recorded due to a Memory 
Card error or a connection error between the 
Memory Card and camera.
• The image cannot be recorded as it is too large to 
fit in the available space on the Memory Card.
• The Memory Card or internal memory is not 
formatted.
• Re-insert the Memory Card or turn the camera off 
and then on again. If the message still appears, 
contact your FUJIFILM dealer.
• Use a new Memory Card.
• Format the Memory Card or internal memory on 
the camera (
➝p.93).
PROTECTED CARD
The SD Memory Card switch is slide to the “Lock” 
side. 
Unlock the protection by sliding it back (
➝p.20).
INTERNAL MEMORY IS 
FULL
INSERT A NEW CARD
The data could not be recorded or copied since the 
internal memory is full.
Erase some images from the internal memory 
(
➝p.38), or use a Memory Card that has ample free 
space.
BUSY
The timing for recording was incorrect because the 
Memory Card was formatted on a PC.
Use a Memory Card that was formatted on the 
camera.
FRAME NO. FULL
The frame number has reached 999-9999.
A Insert a formatted Memory Card into the camera.
B Set RENEW as the FRAME NO. setting in the 
 SET-UP menu (
➝p.90).
C Start taking pictures (The frame number starts 
from “100-0001”).
D Set CONT. as the FRAME NO. setting in the 
 
SET-UP menu.
