The display language of the LCD monitor can be selected from the options listed below.

The language of your HDC-401EX is factory-set to English. To change the
default language, follow the steps given below.

Japanese（日本語）
English（English）
Chinese1（

体中文）

Chinese2（繁體中文）

Press MENU to display the Capture Menu
screen.

In the Capture Menu screen, select Setup
using【

M】

N】and then press 

.

The Setup menu is displayed.

In the Setup menu, select Language using

N】and then press 

.

Select the desired language using【

M】

N】,

and then press 

.

The camera saves the selection and returns to the
Setup menu.

Pressing MENU exits the Capture Menu
screen.

The language selected here is retained even after Setting to the Default

is executed or the power is turned off.
