natural looking colours.
Active Control
Active Control ensures that noise and sharpness
improvements are continuously made at a rate of 60
times per second. By continually adjusting picture
settings over 3,000 times per minute, Active Control
Plus ensures that the viewing experience is optimised.
Virtual dolby surround
Virtual Dolby Surround is a processing technology for
enhancing surround sound effects. It will create the
sensation of Dolby Pro Logic without the necessity of
additional rear speakers. You become totally immersed
in your television experience.

An FM radio capable of storing 40 preset stations is
built in. On-screen station naming makes navigation
simple, and a handy Clock Screensaver is also included

Philips preset modes for Smart Picture and Smart Sound
provide you with direct access via a single key on the
remote control. You can select optimised picture and
sound settings for the various picture modes such as
Eco, Natural, Rich, Multimedia and Personal, and sound
modes such as Movie, Voice, Music and Personal. Do
refer to the DFU for the various picture and sound
smart modes.
DVI-I input
A DVI-I input connects the non-compressed high-
bandwidth digital RGB signal from source to screen. By
eliminating the conversion of the digital signals to
analogue, it delivers an unblemished and noise-free
image, that is clear and flicker-free. The DVI input
supports HDCP copy protection that allows viewing of
copy protected programs from Digital Set-top boxes,
DVD players and HD recorders. DVI-I is future proof as
it can be be connected to all HDMI devices (a converter
cable is required). The DVI-I input also supports analog
PC-VGA signals.
