r Recording Movies

Use this mode to record movies with sound.

Set the camera to r Movie mode.

Set the Mode dial to r.

Z Zooming the image
You must zoom beforehand as you cannot zoom during 
recording.

Focal range
Wide-angle: Approx. 45 cm (1.5 ft) to infinity
Telephoto: Approx. 60 cm (2.0 ft) to infinity

The available recording time 
appears on the LCD 
monitor.

Turn the zoom lever to [ or ] to zoom 
in or out an image.
