Key Application Requirements
High tack, high shear strength double-sided tape holds firmly to create a
permanent, simple overlap splice. If splice is scheduled for additional coating or
other printing operations, tape down trailing or leading edge with a 3M single
coated tape.

high tack adhesive which provides immediate strong bond leaving no exposed
adhesive and preventing web breakage caused by adhesive blocking.

starting and roll closing.
FDA recognized adhesive: 3M tape can be used on most food grade papers.
Easy-to-remove liner: Paper liner removes quickly to reduce application time
and save labor costs.
Light Green adhesive color: Easily identifiable to help save time and increase

Heat resistant: Withstands high oven temperatures associated with web printing
to prevent splice failure and help reduce down time.
Repulpable: Both 3M tape and liner pass TAPPI method UM-213. No need to
separate splice from waste.
