The Setup Menu

 R RESET

Reset shooting or setup menu options to default values. 

F DATE/TIME, N TIME DIFFERENCE 

and 

A SCREEN SET-UP > BACKGROUND COLOR are not aff ected.

 Highlight the desired option and press the selector right.

 A confi rmation dialog will be displayed; highlight OK and press MENU/OK.

 o SILENT MODE

Select ON to disable the speaker, fl ash, and AF-assist illuminator in situations in which camera 
sounds or lights may be unwelcome.

I CONTROL RING

Choose the direction in which the control ring is rotated to increase the focus distance.

j FOCUS CHECK

default: ON)

If ON is selected for j FOCUS CHECK, the image will be magnifi ed in the display to assist focus 
when the control ring is rotated in manual focus mode (

P 58). The camera must be in manual
