Using the Filters

 

The S4's 

FILTER

 encoders located on Channels 

A

 & 

B

 can be used to apply the Filter effect to

a TRAKTOR DJ Deck. Moving one of these 

FILTER 

encoders from its 12 o'clock position ini-

tiates the Filter function in TRAKTOR DJ.

Touch your finger on the Filter section of a TRAKTOR DJ Decks 

Equalizer

 display.

→ Turning one of the S4's 

FILTER

 knobs clockwise cuts the low end frequencies, whereas

turning counter clockwise cuts the high end. You'll notice here that when you move a

FILTER

 button to the right (

HPF

), the Filter also moves to the right along its X axis within

TRAKTOR DJ, and vice a versa to the left (

LPF

).
