4.  With a damp rag, clean around one of the two oil fi ll 
plugs/dipsticks. Either one can be used.
5.  Remove one of the oil fi ll plugs/dipsticks (see 
Figure 38).

6.  Check oil level:
When checking the engine oil, remove the oil fi ll 
plug/dipstick and wipe it clean. Thread the oil fi ll 
plug/dipstick all the way back in and then remove 
and check the oil level on the oil fi ll plug/dipstick.
x Acceptable Oil Level – Oil is visible on the 
crosshatch lines on the oil fi ll plug/dipstick (see 
Figure 39)
.
x Low Oil – Oil is not visible on the crosshatch lines 
on the oil fi ll plug/dipstick (see Figure 39).

 Adding Engine Oil
NOTICE
Oil crankcase capacity is 0.6 liter. Do not overfi ll.
1.  Always operate or maintain the pressure washer on 
a fl at surface.
2.  Stop engine if running.
3.  Let engine sit and cool for several minutes (allow 
crankcase pressure to equalize).
4.  Thoroughly clean around the oil fi ll plug/dipstick.
5.  Remove oil fi ll plug/dipstick and wipe clean. 
6.  See Engine Oil Specifi cation on page 31 for the 
proper engine oil.
7.  Slowly add engine oil to the engine. Stop frequently 
to check the level to avoid overfi lling.
8.  Continue to add oil until the oil is at the correct 
level. See Checking Engine Oil on page 31.
 Changing Engine Oil
Model WP2700
1.  Stop the engine. Ensure gas cap properly sealed.
2.  Let engine sit and cool for several minutes (allow 
crankcase pressure to equalize and hot surfaces to 
cool down).
3.  Place oil pan (or suitable container) beside the oil 
fi ll plug/dipstick.
4.  Remove the oil fi ll plug/dispstick so the oil can drain  
(see Figure 40).
