+  Before contacting a Samsung authorized service center, perform the following simple 

troubleshooting

Low Battery

The battery pack is almost 
discharged.

Change to a charged pack or use the AC 
power adaptor. Charge the battery pack.

Check the

authenticity of this

battery

-

The battery pack can not
pass authenticity check.

Check whether the battery is 
authentic. Change to an authentic battery.
We recommended you use only genuine 
Samsung batteries in this camcorder.

Memory Full 

(SMX-C24 only)

There is not enough 
space to record in built-in 
memory.

Delete unnecessary files in the built-in 
memory. Use a memory card. 
Back-up files to your PC or another storage 
media and delete files.

Insert Card

There is no memory card 
inserted in the card slot.

Insert a memory card.

•

Card Full

There is not enough space 
to record in the memory 
card.

Delete unnecessary files from the memory 
card. Use the built-in memory.  
(SMX-C24 only)
Back-up files to your PC or another storage 
media and delete files.
Change to another memory card which has 
enough free space.

Card Locked

The write protection tab 
on an SDHC card has 
been set to lock.

Release write protection tab.

•

Card Error

The memory card has 
some problem and cannot 
be recognized.

Format the memory card or replace it with a 
new one.
