You are probably entering {*} {#} {9}. This is the default setting
for the fax activation code. If you use a voice mail service, turn the
fax activation feature OFF or reprogram the activation code

High humidity may cause the recording paper to curl. Try turning
the paper over and re-inserting it. If the curl on the paper is heavy,
