Community strings serve as passwords and can be entered as one of the 
following:  
Read only: Enables requests accompanied by this string to display MIB-
object information.  
Read Write: Enables requests accompanied by this string to display MIB-
object information and to set MIB objects. 
 
Community Name: Enter the name of current community strings. The 
default is “public”. 
Write Access: Enables the permissions for Read Only or Read/Write.
