 loudspeaker sys-

tem for commercial, professional and residential applications where high-
fidelity sound and weather-resistance is desired. Full-range frequency 
response makes these systems ideal for outdoor installation, in monaural 
and stereo foreground or background music systems, and for applications 
in which a ground speaker system is desired.

ity to the great outdoors by packaging the proven performance of the 
Strategy Series

®

 FA136 driver in a specially designed, natural looking 

brown  enclosure designed to mimic the look of brown granite. Atlas 
Sound’s weather-resistant ROCKFA62T-BR loudspeaker systems offer 
accurate sound reproduction and nature inspired aesthetics’ in a compact 
 simulated, rock enclosure.

System components consist of a highly efficient 6" woofer section and

PEI (Polyetherimide) dome high frequency tweeter. An internal 32 watt 
70.7V / 100V transformer is terminated to a 24" direct burial rated pigtail 
that includes conductors for all transformer taps including a 1:1 connec-
tion for 8Ω operation. In an effort to enhance vocal and musical clarity 
in multi-speaker outdoor systems, the ROCKFA62T-BR is optimized to 
complement the FAP62T (for under eave mounting) and the SM52T for 
on the wall deployment in outdoor high quality sound systems. 

To withstand the harshest environments, the new Strategy Series

®

 

ROCKFA62T-BR ground level deployed loudspeakers are constructed 
of weather-resistant materials. Woofers feature treated Kevlar

®

 cone 

and synthetic rubber surrounds and the tweeter is constructed of PEI 
(Polyetherimide).

The speaker systems include an embedded underground eyebolt for a 
security anchor to prevent theft.

The outdoor rock loudspeaker system shall be Atlas Sound 
 ROCKFA62T-BR or approved equal. The simulated stone assembly shall 
consist of a 2-way FA136 style, coaxial woofer and tweeter, within an 
weather-resistant housing constructed of paintable UV-resistant, styrene, 
fiber reinforced molded plastic finished in a granite brown finish to mimic 
the look of natural stone. The unit shall be secured to its location at 
ground level through an embedded I-bolt security ring.

The 50 Watt RMS (32 Watt transformer ) system shall have a 6" woofer, 
constructed of polypropylene impregnated Kevlar

™

 with Norsorex

™

 syn-

thetic rubber surround , and a ½" coaxially mounted PEI (Polyetherimide) 
tweeter. The dividing network crossover frequency shall be 5kHz. Each 
unit shall include an internally mounted 32 watt 70.7V / 100V line match-
ing transformer for use in distributed sound applications and have a 24 
inch multi conductor wire extension for selecting wattage taps and for 8Ω 
applications. Wattage taps shall be 2, 4, 8, 16, & 32 @ 70.7V plus 1:1 tap 
for 8Ω operation. The loudspeaker system shall meet the following per-
formance criteria: Power handling, 50 Watts RMS (32 Watt Transformer); 
Frequency response, ±5dB from 80Hz – 20kHz; Pressure sensitivity, 
88dB SPL at one watt. The unit shall be 10
