PCI Bus Power
Management

 

Disable

 

You can enable or disable this
power-saving feature, which stops the PCI
bus clock automatically when there is no
system activity. You usually don't need to
change the function.

Power control beep

 

Disabled

 

If you enable this function, a beep sounds
when the computer enters a power
management mode and when it resumes
operational mode. There is also a beep
when the AC Adapter is connected or
disconnected.

Low-battery alarm

 

Disabled

 

You can enable or disable the low-battery
alarm.

Volume beep

 

Disabled

 

If you enable this function, a beep sounds
when you change the volume by pressing
Fn

+

PgUp or PgDn.

Resetting configuration data

 

 

Yes

Select Yes if you want to reset your
configuration data.

Booting the display device

 

LCD

 

CRT

 

You can select the boot video device.

HV expansion

 

 

On

You can control the LCD horizontal and
vertical expansion state.

Brightness

 

High

 

If you select High, the brightness of the
LCD is always the same under either ac
power or battery power. High diminishes
the battery power.

Startup screen

 

 

Disabled

If you enable this function, the IBM logo
always appears on the LCD when the
computer boots.

RPL token ring speed

If you user the remote program loading
(RTP) system through the token ring card,
you can set its speed.
