Connecting to a Remote Server
Figure 1-1
Manual Connection
You need to only complete this manual configuration once (or after reboot to factory defaults). After the
zero client knows the location of your server, it automatically connects to the server for login when you
start the zero client in the future. After you confirm that your environment is ready for deployment, you
can create INI files for central configuration.
Manual Connection Procedures
Your system administrator will provide the specific steps and information necessary for you to log in to
your Cisco VXC client.
One of the standard ways to log in to a Citrix Virtual Machine (VM) is to set up a broker server by
clicking Remote Connections, selecting Citrix Xen, restarting the Cisco VXC client, and then entering
login credentials. However, another procedure may be supplied by your system administrator.
Procedure
Step 1
Click the System Settings icon
on the Cisco VXC toolbar to open the System Settings menu, and
then click Remote Connections to open the Remote Connections dialog box.
