IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS: 
 
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following: 
 
- Read all instructions carefully before operating this appliance. 
 - To protect against risk of electrical shock do not put in water or other liquid. 
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. 
- Unplug from power outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. 
- Avoid contacting moving parts. 
- Never put the unit near a hot burner, or in heating oven or in a dishwasher. 
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or 
damaged in any manner.  
- The use of attachments, including canning jars, not recommended by the manufacturer may cause a risk of 
injury to persons. 
- Do not use outdoors. 
- Do not let power cord hang over edge of table or counter. 
- Do not let power cord contact sharp edges or hot surfaces, including the stove. 
- Do not yank on any cord to disconnect. 
- Never plug appliance in where water floods the area. 
- Place the appliance on a firm and stable surface. 
- Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils out of container while blending to reduce the 
risk of serve injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but only when the blender is not 
running. 
- Blades are sharp. Handle careful. 
- To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base without jar properly attached. 
- Always operate blender with cover in place. 
- When blending hot liquids, remove centre piece of cover. 
- Ensure that the appliance is not placed so close to the edge of the table, worktop, etc. that it may be knocked 
off. 
- The USA-version has a polarized plug. As safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If 
the plug doesn't fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still doesn't fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not 
attempt to defeat this safety feature. 
- Never use abrasive cleaning agents or abrasive cloths when cleaning the unit. 
- Do not use blender for other than intended use.

CLEANING 
FIRST UNPLUG THE APPLIANCE. NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER 
LIQUID.  
Clean the blender after each use. This prevents food from sticking to the appliance. Do not use corrosive or 
abrasive substances. Wipe the outside with a damp cloth. 
 
The Princess Royal Power Blender is ideal for quickly beating, mixing, pureeing or crumbling all kinds of 
ingredients. Before using the blender for the first time, we recommend that you wash the mixing vessel, blade 
and lid. Make sure your mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the base of the appliance. 
  
UNPACKING AND ASSEMBLING 
Unpack all the components carefully; the glass jug is breakable. Screw the blade into the bottom of the jug with 
the packing ring.
