Overview
The CrystalLink USB CAT5 extenders are
usually sold in pairs, a transmitter unit and a receiver
unit. The transmitter unit connects to your computers
USB port and the receiver unit connects to 1, 2 or 4 USB
1.1 or 2.0 devices. The transmitter and receiver unit are
connected together with up to 330 feet of standard
CAT5 cable. All models support USB hubs for adding
unit. The transmitter unit connects to your computers
USB port and the receiver unit connects to 1, 2 or 4 USB

Installation
Installing the CrystalLink USB CAT5
extender is as simple as connecting the computer’s
USB port to the transmitter unit, connecting up to 4 USB
1.1 or 2.0 devices to the receiver unit and connecting
the local and remote units together with CAT5 cable.

Expanding CrystalLink with a USB hub
In
addition to extending one, two or four USB devices, you
can add up to 3 standard USB 4-port hubs to the
