ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Instantaneous volume reduction
(mute)
This feature allows you to instantane-
ously reduce (mute) the volume to a lev-
el preset by you.
Briefly press button

To restore the volume,

You can set the unit’s mute volume level.

Telephone audio
If your car sound system is connected
to a mobile telephone, the sound sys-
tem’s volume will be muted as soon as
you “pick up” the telephone. The tele-
phone call is then heard over the car
sound system’s loudspeakers. This re-
quires that the mobile telephone be con-
nected to the car sound system as de-
scribed in the installation instructions.
You will need a cable for this with the
following Blaupunkt number: 7 607 001
503.
You can set the volume at which you
want telephone calls to be initially heard.

Note:
You can use the volume control

to adjust the volume of a telephone
call whilst the call is being heard.
You can adjust the tone and vol-
ume distribution settings for tele-
phone calls. For further details,
please read the chapter entitled
“Tone and volume distribution set-
tings”. The settings can only be ad-
justed during a telephone call and
are stored for future telephone calls.
Confirmation beep
For some functions you will hear a con-
firmation beep if you keep a button
pressed for longer than two seconds.
For instance, after storing a radio sta-
tion to a station button you will hear a
confirmation beep. The beep can be
switched on/off.
