Using
the
built-in
configuration
programs
The
following
configuration
programs
are
provided
with
your
computer:
v
Configuration/Setup
Utility
This
program
is
part
of
the
basic
input/output
system
(BIOS)
code
that
comes
with
your
computer.
You
can
use
this
program
to
configure
serial-
and
parallel-connector
assignments,
change
the
drive
startup
sequence,
set
the
date
and
time,
and
set
passwords.

With
the
built-in
LSI
Logic
Configuration
Utility
program,
you
can
configure
the
integrated
SCSI
controller
and
the
devices
that
are
attached
to
it.
For

The
ServeRAID
™
programs
come
with
your
computer.
If
your
computer
has
a
ServeRAID
controller
installed,
you
must
use
the
ServeRAID
Configuration
program
to
define
and
configure
your
disk-array
subsystem
before
you
install
your
operating
system.

Starting
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program
Configuration/Setup
is
a
menu-driven
utility
that
is
part
of
the
BIOS
code
that
comes
with
your
computer.
You
can
use
it
to:

Configure
serial
connector
assignments
v
Change
the
drive
startup
sequence
v
Enable
USB
keyboard
and
mouse
support
v
Resolve
configuration
conflicts
v
Set
the
date
and
time
v
Set
passwords
Complete
the
following
steps
to
start
the
Configuration/Setup
Utility
program:
1.
Turn
on
the
computer
and
watch
the
monitor
screen.
2.
When
the
message
Press
F1
for
Configuration/Setup
appears,
press
the
F1
key.
3.
Follow
the
instructions
that
appear
on
the
screen.
