MegaZoom Concepts and Oscilloscope Operation

To Autosave traces and setups

1 Connect a signal to the oscilloscope and obtain a stable display.

2 Insert a disk in the oscilloscope floppy disk drive.

3 Press the 

 softkey.

Your current setup and waveform trace will be saved to an automatically 
generated file name (

) on the floppy disk. The file name is shown in 

the line above the softkeys. The 

 number in the 

 file name will 

automatically increment (starting at 

) each time you save a new file to floppy 

disk.  Up to 100 traces and setups can be saved on each floppy disk if space 
permits.

When viewed from the floppy disk menu (front-panel 

Utility key) the trace file 

will have a 

 file extension and the setup file will have a 

 file extension.

If you want to enter your own file name, overwrite an existing file name, or save 
to an internal oscilloscope memory, press the 

Save softkey to enter the Save 

menu.
