Set Vertical Format Unit (VFU)
Programs up to 12 sets (channels) of vertical tabs.
The maximum tab stops in one set (channel) is 27.
This command works in conjunction with the VT
command followed by a channel code (n). When
the VT command is received, the printer skips to
the next tab stop in that channel.
To set your tabs, follow the DC4 code with one SP
code for each line to be skipped in order to
advance to the line where you want your first tab
stop. For example, the command
DC4 32 32 32 5 32 12 32 32 20 32 32 32 32....32 63
causes the printer to skip 3 lines, enters a tab stop
at 5, skips 1 line, enters a tab stop at 12, skips 2
lines, enters a tab stop at 20, and then skips
however many lines remain on the page.
