The event log can be accessed using one of these methods:

• Direct viewing from within the CLI using the 

view eventlog

 

command

• Offline viewing by transferring the file from the VCPS using either FTP 

or SCP. The event log is stored as 

/logs/messages

 in the file 

system.

You must be an administrator to use FTP and SCP to access 
the event log.
