If your TDD has the optional ASCII feature, your TDD will give you the option to answer calls

To answer an Incoming Call when the Auto-Answer is ON:
1. Press the [SPACE BAR] once before or after Auto-Answer message is sent.
• The Auto-Answer is removed.
• The PortaView Plus is now ‘on-line” with caller.
