Dropper tool
The Dropper tool is actually a 3-in-1 tool. It consists of the Tag Windows tool,
Black Eyedropper tool and White Eyedropper tool. The Tag Windows tool
provides pixel information at the pointer position on the prescan image. With
the pixel information, the Tag Windows tool allows you to further adjust the
Black (shadow) point, White (highlight) point, and color cast (LCH mode only)
directly on the image (instead of making the adjustments from the AIC tools in
the Settings window).
The Tag Windows tool also helps isolate and identify precise colors in a given
image, providing a visible and retrievable record of color values. This way,
ScanWizard Pro TX lets you pinpoint and “tag” the color on the image, showing
you the original or “Before” values, as well as the corrected or “After” values
following the application of image adjustment controls.
This tool is particularly useful in performing color adjustments based on known
mathematical values, as the displayed color information provides a base in
determining how close or accurate are the color changes that have been made.
