Using the Batch Scan Feature
The Batch Scan feature of ScanWizard Pro lets you set up “batches” of jobs
beforehand and then allows you to start the scanning process when you are
ready to do so with a simple click of a button. For instance, you can place 12
slides in the slide holder, perform adjustments for each slide, and then use the
Batch Scan program to scan all of them. This lets you prepare the 12 slides in
one session, start the scan, and then go have lunch or take a break. When you
come back, all the 12 scans are done.
The Batch Scan feature also lets you work with and switch among varying
“contexts”. For instance, you can easily switch from a context featuring five
different scan jobs to another context where you have purely CMYK images. All
the varying contexts can be saved in ScanWizard Pro, and when the time comes
to scan, you can simply choose which “batch” or context to load and scan.
To use the batch scanning feature:
Go to the Apple menu, and choose the Batch Scan command. The first time you
start the batch scan program, you will be asked to locate your ScanWizard Pro
Plug-in — most likely in your image-editing (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) Plug-ins
folder. Once the batch scanning program launches, use the Edit or Execute
features of the program.
