Select the preferred audio language for DVD playback.

Subtitle Language  

Select the preferred subtitle language for DVD playback. 

Notes:
– If the selected audio/subtitle language is not available on the disc, the 
disc’s default setting language will be used instead. 
– For some DVDs, the subtitle/audio language can only be changed via 
the DVD disc menu.  

 

Set the aspect ratio of the recorder according to the TV type 
you have connected.
{ 4:3 PS }  

– Select this for a full-height picture with 

both side trimmed.

{

4:3 LB }  

– Select this for a ‘wide screen’ display with 

black bands on the upper and lower 
portions of the TV screen.

{ 16:9 } 

– Select this for wide screen TV (frame ratio 

16:9).

 

With this feature, you can resume playback of the last played 
disc. 

{

On }  

– Turn on the resume mode.  The recorder 

will resume playback of the last played 
disc.

{ Off }  

– Turn off the resume mode of the last 

played disc.  The recorder will start 
playback from the beginning when you load 
a disc.

Note:  The Resume { Off } feature only applies to playback after the 
recorder has been switched to standby or after ejecting a disc.

DivX(R) VOD DRM  

Select to view the DivX® VOD (Video On Demand) registration 
code that allows you to rent or purchase videos using DivX® 
VOD services. For more information, visit www.divx.com/vod.

1) Press OK to display the registration code.
2) Press BACK to return to the previous menu.
3)  Use the registration code to purchase or rent videos from 

DivX® VOD service at www.divx.com/vod.  Follow the 
instructions and copy the video from your computer onto a 
CD-R/RW or recordable DVD for playback on this recorder.

Note:  All the downloaded videos from DivX® VOD can only be played 
back on this recorder.
