1. Select ALARM LIST CLEAR in <MAINTENANCE> menu

and turn the SHUTTLE ring to the right.

2. Turn the SHUTTLE ring to the left to clear the list.

•

<MAINTENANCE> menu appears.
To exit the menu without clearing the list, press the
MENU button.

3. Press the MENU button.

•

Once the list is cleared, the Alarm Recording indicator
(

) on the fluorescent display will go off.

Indicates how many times a tape has been recorded over
since it was first inserted.

Indicates the total time the VCR has been used for recording
or playback.

1. Press the MENU button.

•

<MAIN MENU> appears.

2. Turn the JOG dial to select MAINTENANCE and turn the

SHUTTLE ring to the right.
•

<REPEAT REC TIMES> and <ELAPSED TIME> are
shown at the bottom of the <MAINTENANCE> menu.

3. Press the MENU button.

•

The day and present time display appears on screen.

When the SEARCH button is pressed for more than 10 seconds, all buttons on the
front panel of VCR are locked and kept in the current condition.  The Lock indicator
(

) illuminates on the fluorescent display when the VCR is locked.  To release the

lock, press the SEARCH button for more than 10 seconds again.  This function is only
valid when the VCR is turned off or recording.

shown if the number exceeds 200
times.

•

<ELAPSED TIME> is shown up to
89,999 hours.
