A point to notice

Supplementary information

The commands sent from the RS-485 controller to the VCR and
responses produced by the VCR are detailed in this section.

•

Input the “VCR ADDRESS (eg. VCR01)” that you want to
control and “, (comma)” before inputting the command code.

•

When you want to control all the VCRs set to the same
group number, input “GROUP (eg. GRP01)” that you want to
control and “, (comma)” before inputting the command
codes.

•

When you want to control all connected VCRs, input “ALL”
and “, (comma)” before inputting the command codes.

CR

 indicates carriage return code (0DH).

Example 1:
Fast forward the tape in the VCR of the ID number VCR02.

 indicates carriage return code (0DH).

Status or error code will be sent from the VCR when
STATUS in the RS-485 menu is set to ON.

Example 2:
When the VCRs from VCR28 to VCR34 are set to GROUP03,
and switch on the all VCR of the GROUP number 03.

 indicates carriage return code (0DH).

When the commands are sent for the group of VCRs, status
or error code will not be sent from the VCRs.

Example 3:
Set the clock of the all VCR connected to 12:27.

 indicates carriage return code (0DH).

When the commands are send for ALL VCRs, status or error
code will not be sent from the VCR.
