Hold the handle of the ink cassette and raise the cassette. Then put the roller ends into

the ditches.

Make sure to put the ivory ink ribbon roller firmly into the ditches shown by the arrows

point.

If the ink ribbon is used up, repeat the steps

 to replace the print paper and the

ink ribbon.

When closing the door, push it until a click is heard.

•

If the PAPER/INK RIBBON indicator illuminates when the door is closed, the print

paper may have not been installed correctly.

In this case, open the door to make sure that the print paper has been installed

correctly.  Then close the door again.

The print paper is cut after being fed about 15 cm.  Repeat this step three times when

replacing the print paper.

(This step is for initializing, and helps to remove finger prints and dust on the print

paper. The mechanism inside the unit is also reset to the initial position as a preparation

for printing.)

Make sure to replace the print paper and the ink ribbon at the same time.

•

When replacing them, throw away the paper chips in the dust box.
