Use  the  ui  button  to  select  the  Security  and  press  the  i 
button.

None  : 

  Select if not encrypted.

 

Can  also  be  used  even  without  encryption,  through  we 
recommend encryption for improved security.

 

WEP   WPA-PSK(TKIP)   WPA-PSK(AES)   WPA2-PSK(TKIP)   

 

WPA2-PSK(AES)  : 

  Select the encryption method according to the encryption setting 

of the access point you are using.

Use the uio p button to input the “Key” (encryption key) and 
press the 

 button.

  Enter the same encryption key as used for the access point.

  When  no  security  settings  have  been  used  in  the  Internet 

connection settings, this step is not necessary.

When encryption is by “WEP”, select the “Default Key” using 
the i button, and then press the o p button.

  Select the same default key as used for the access point. This 

should normally be set to “1”.

Use the i button to select “Connection” and press the 

 

button.

  Network connection starts.
  When  connection  is  established  with  the  access  point, 

“Connection completed.” is displayed.

  AVP-A1HDCI performs automatic network setup due to the DHCP 

function.

  When  connecting  to  a  network  that  has  no  DHCP  function, 

perform the setting in step 4.

Select “Detail” and press the 

 button.

Use the o p button to select the Mode and press the i button.

Infrastructure  :  Select  when  communication  is  via  an  access 

point.

 

 :  Select  during  direct  communication,  when  an 

access point is not used.

Use  the  uio  p  button  to  input  the  name  of  the  wireless 
network (SSID) and press the 

 button.

If you are using a router with no DHCP function to automatically assign 
the IP address, set the IP address manually.
