The fingerprint reader is ELO part number E728123 (DigitalPersona U.are.U 4000B).  The

fingerprint reader is powered by the USB bus. The reader optically scans the fingerprint

when the user touches the glowing window. Optical technology gives the highest qual-

ity fingerprint scans and reliability.
