Changing the main battery

Removing the battery from the computer
To remove the battery:

Save your work.

Shut down and turn off the computer.

Remove all cables connected to the computer.

Turn the computer over.

Slide the battery lock up and slide the release latch to the
left.

Insert a fingertip in the battery module recessed area and
pull the discharged battery module out of the computer.
