K Using the Flash (Intelligent Flash)
To choose a fl ash mode, press the selector right (
K). The
fl ash mode changes each time the selector is pressed; in
modes other than AUTO, the current mode is indicated by
an icon in the monitor. Choose from the following options
(some options are not available in all shooting modes; see
the restrictions in another supplied document):

The fl ash fi res whenever a picture is taken. Use for backlit subjects or for natural coloration
when shooting in bright light.

slow shutter speeds to warn that pictures may be blurred. Use of a tripod is recommended.

Caution
The fl ash may fi re several times with each shot. Do not move the camera until shooting is complete.
