1. Click SATA when Magic Install Menu appears 

2. Install Promise PDC20378 serial ATA Driver

3. Click YES and restart your computer 

 

1.  Boot from Windows 2000/XP,and go to: Control panel\System\Hardware\Device 

Manager 

2.  Double Click "Other Device \ Mass Storage Controller, and Select "Driver \ Update 

Driver", Change the directory to "X:\SATA378\SATA\WINXP", then select "OK".   

It will auto detect "WinXP Promise SATA378 (tm) IDE Controller" driver 

The path of the file: 

For Windows 9X is X:\SATA378\SATA\WIN98-ME (including Win95/98/ME) 
For Windows NT4.0 is X:\SATA378\SATA\NT4 
For Windows 2000 is X:\SATA378\SATA\WIN2000 
For Windows XP is X:\SATA378\SATA\WINXP 

NOTE : 
When you try to install Window NT4.0/2000/XP OS with Serial ATA hard disk drive,   
Please Copy NT4.0/2000/XP driver to disk and insert the Serial ATA DISK from A:\ , 
then Press F6 key to install driver first when installing OS menu asks you to do so.
