6.5 Base Low Battery Alert
W hen the Base battery level falls too low, the Base will sound

a
low battery alert
and turn on a low battery indicator message to indicate that
the battery is low.
The Base will now operate with only audio for normal alert and without audible beeps in find mode to locate the Tag, and turn
off the backlight on the Base.
The Base low battery alert is:
• 3 chirps (without vibration) under normal mode.
• 1 short vibration under silent mode.
• 3 chirps (without vibration) under normal mode.
• 1 short vibration under silent mode.
Monitoring Mode:
The Base will turn on the low battery indication, display a message for 2 seconds and then revert to monitoring
mode operation.

6.6 Flat Battery Alert
Once the battery level goes too low, the Base will emit the Flat battery alert, a message will be displayed for 2 seconds and then the Base will shut
down, showing a blank screen.

Note: The Base does not need to be re-associated with the Tag/Tags when batteries are replaced.
