Battery Installation
Insert  the batteries while observing the positive(+) and
negative(-) polarities as Figure A
Service life of batteries
u
The batteries normally last for about one year although
this depends on operation and for what operations the
remote control is used.
u
If the remote control unit fails to work even when it is
operated near the player, replace the batteries
u
Use size AAAUM-4 batteries(2 pieces)
Notes:
u
Do not use rechargeable (Ni-Cd) batteries
u
Do not attempt to recharge, short circuit, disassemble,
heat or throw the batteries into fire
u
Do not drop, step on or impact the remote control
otherwise this may damage the parts or lead to mal-
function
u
Do not mix old and new batteries
u
If the remote control is not going to be used for a long
time, remove the batteries. Otherwise, electrolyte may
leak which may lead not only to malfunctioning but also
to burns if contact is made with the electrolyte
u
Wipe away any electrolyte leaking inside the remote
control, and install new batteries
u
If any electrolyte should come into contact with parts
of your body, wash it off thoroughly with water
Remote control operation range
u
The operation range of the remote control is no more
than about 5m from and within about 60 degrees of the
front of the unit (Figure B)
u
The operating distance may vary according to the
brightness of the room
Note:
u
Do not point bright lights at the remote control sensor
u
Do not place objects between the remote control unit
and the remote control sensor
u
Do not use remote control while simultaneously op-
