Camera Conn
ection
Using the AC power adapter (sold separately)
Check that the camera is off. Plug the AC power adapter
connector into the DC IN 8V socket and then plug the AC
power adapter into the power outlet.
CAUTION
• Only connect and disconnect the AC power adapter
when the camera is off. Connecting or disconnecting
the AC power adapter while the camera is on
temporarily interrupts the power supply to the camera,
which will stop the recording of any images or movies
being shot. Failing to turn the camera off before
connecting/disconnecting can also result in damage to
the Memory Card, or malfunction during PC connection.
• The shape of the plug and socket-outlet depends on the
country of use.
• FUJIFILM is not responsible for any malfunction caused
by using any AC power adapter other than FUJIFILM
AC Power Adapter AC-84V.
• Do not connect the AC power adapter to charge the
battery. Use the supplied charger BC-140 to charge the
battery.
MEMO
See “Notes and Cautions” (included) for notes on the AC
power adapter.
Always use a FUJIFILM AC Power Adapter AC-84V (sold separately) (
➝p.148).
Use the AC power adapter to prevent losing power at inconvenient times, such as when downloading photographed images to
your PC. You can take pictures and play back images without worrying about depleting the battery.
