Create a retouched copy of the current picture.

 Display the desired picture.

 Select 

c EDIT in the playback menu and choose from the following op-

tions:

Retouch faces in pictures taken with Intelligent Face Detection (pictures 
marked with 

g; P

 

32).

Crop the copy.

Choose the aspect ratio.

Adjust brightness.

Adjust contrast.

Choose positive values for “warmer” colors, negative values for “cooler” colors.

Convert the copy to sepia or black and white.

If the original was taken with Intelligent Face Detection, a mosaic eff ect can 
be applied to up to four faces.  If Intelligent Face Detection was off  or no 
faces were detected, the mosaic eff ect will be applied to the center of the 
image.

 Press MENU/OK to create a retouched copy (in some cases, additional op-

tions will be displayed; adjust settings as desired and press MENU/OK to save 
the copy).

 

R Apply ASPECT RATIO and FACE MOZAIC before other retouch options. ASPECT 

RATIO and FACE MOSAIC can not be applied to retouched copies.
