Intelligent Face Detection can distinguish human faces, 
and adjust their focus and brightness. It can even detect 
and focus on two faces on opposite sides of the frame, 
where ordinarily the background in the center of the frame 
would be focused. Intelligent Face Detection adjusts the 
brightness of detected faces, so faces can be captured 
brightly and clearly. The red-eye effect can also be 
corrected.

You can display and enlarge faces in images when 
playing back the images shot using the 

Intelligent 

Face Detection function.

Shooting with wide dynamic range can produce an image 
with rich shadow and highlight detail, by suppressing 
white flaring and black patches in scenes.
[AUTO], [100%], [200%] and [400%] can be selected for 
the scene being shot.
