■ Using an SD Memory Card
Also, see SD Memory Card          .
SD memory cards (sold separately) can be used with the HDC-401EX
(32, 64, 128, 256 and 512 MB compatible).
Images can be captured without an SD memory card, as the camera has an
internal 16 MB flash memory.
Copying Images in the Internal Memory to the SD Memory Card
is also
possible.
For a reference on the possible number of shots and recording time, see
■ Specifications: Number of Recordable Images/Recording Time and
Data Size
.
The SD memory card is hereinafter referred to as the“memory card.”
If a memory card is used the memory card will be given priority, thus preventing the
camera from recording to its internal memory or erasing images from the internal memory.
Turn off the power before replacing the memory card.
