■ Formatting
Formatting refers to making space available in the camera
,
s internal memory or
memory card when it becomes full, so that images and data can be stored again.
Formatting the internal memory or memory card will delete all data stored
inside. Confirm the content of the stored data before formatting.
※The formatting process also deletes the protected images.
If you want to use a memory card that has been used in other digital camera
or in a computer, format the card in the HDC-401EX before use.
Check the remaining battery power before formatting. If the power is turned
off during the formatting process, the internal memory/memory card may not
be formatted correctly. An improperly formatted memory card may not
function correctly.
