Adjusting the Degaussing Coils - 4

  Do not remove the 

board assemblies. The 

illustration at left shows 

the boards removed for 

clarification only.
Check for tape or clips 

where the degaussing 

coils overlap (near the 

deflection yoke).

4 If the degaussing coils 

are not attached with 

tape or clips, use two 

pieces of electrical tape 

(about 6 inches long, 

each) to fasten the two 

coils closely together.
